Manager - Payments and Merchant Platform

Responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end solutions to enable new payment methods and new partner integrations.
  • Identify dependencies on other products to deliver a complete end-to-end solution.
  • Define and implement a strategy for building new integrations with payments processors in different market segments.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall product strategy & the product roadmap for payment processing to support market expansion.
  • Evaluate new product opportunities and bring forward proposals for products to expand the capabilities that are aligned with the business.
  • Stay up to date on competitors’ activities and market trends to ensure the company is well ahead of the curve on the same.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual business plan.
  • Assist in the design of product platform solutions with APIs, services, and data-driven insights that deliver world-class experiences across payments processing and Merchant Management.
  • Be a part of the scrum team, assist in defining product requirements and collaborate with project managers, vendor, scrum teams, and the PLA team to plan for development and launch.
  • Having a strong understanding and empathy with sellers/merchants is required using the Payments platform and developers building on the platform.
  • Ensure the health of the platform by balancing new features with maintenance and technical depth.
  • Coordinate with the data and analytics team to ensure timely availability of all required data and reports.
  • Work with user experience and consumer service teams to ensure a hassle-free, seamless experience for customers in availing of Payment ap.
  • Collaborate with the IT teams to ensure resolution is smooth and dependencies are reduced.
  • Ensuring benchmark customer experiences on the Platform including end-to-end journey experience by working closely with all product owners and CS teams related to the Platform.
  • Constantly strive to improve user interface based on customer usage data and other analytical insights.
  • Ensure all existing and to be developed digital products comply with regulatory, as well as operational, risk, and statutory compliance requirements.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance / Economics / Engineering or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Sound understanding of Digital Fintech products’ development process.
  • Should have excellent communication skills, strong conceptualization skills, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in the related areas including Fintech Payments / digital banking sector.
